The groups are
based on a student's high school graduating year, so
the groups can move from grade-to-grade with the
students, and you will not have to join a new
"grade" group each year. For example, 6th graders
this year will not have to join a "7th grade" group
next year; they'll already be in the group
graduating year. Joining this year one time
will carry you until you leave SCIS. We will add a
new group for the new 6th graders each year, and delete
the departing 8th
graders' group at that time.
